This enclave in Saucedilla is an absolute must for nature lovers, and in particular for birdwatching enthusiasts.
The Arrocampo Ornithological Park is located in the municipality of Saucedilla, very close to the Monfragüe National Park. It was created to showcase the wealth of fauna, especially birds, afforded by the Arrocampo reservoir ad nearby lakes in the irrigable areas, declared a SPA (Special Protection Area for birds).
If you like walking and enjoying nature out in the open whilst spotting birds, come to the information office. They will give you all the details of the birdwatching routes available. And you will quickly realise that in Saucedilla there is an ornithological paradise waiting to be discovered.
