  • A mixture of styles is the emblem of the parish church of El Salvador, located in the town of Almoharín in the province of Cáceres, and declared a monument of historical and artistic interest.

Declared a monument of historical and artistic interest, the parish church of El Salvador, in Almoharín, shows styles from diverse chronological periods, making it a singular, unique building. This religious construction with three naves structured in three sections and a crossing, is made of masonry and granite ashlars.

Although it is not beside the church, one of the most remarkable elements is the village tower, which has three sections and a dome. Actually the 15th-century tower was built for purely defensive purposes but in time came to be used as a belltower. As a result in the 16th century a second, wider section was added to the first one, to house the bells. The third section was built in the 18th century and is influenced by the Andalusian architecture of the period.
