The historic site that is used as the setting for this festival creates a magical atmosphere.
The city of Coria, in Cáceres, has an unmissable event on its calendar – the “Ciudad de Coria” International Guitar Festival. Every year a renowned musician plays at the opening concert, followed by a wide range of artists, who normally play inside the cathedral, and admission is free.
Several master classes also take place during the festival, give by guitar maestros to people who come to the festival from all over the world.
This festival also has another interesting feature: the historic site in which it takes place, as the perfect backdrop to enjoy the music. In short, it's an event not to be missed.
