Great architectural work classified as a Historic-Artistic Monument with Gothic works of art in the interior.
This is a 16th century Baroque style Christian temple declared a Historic-Artistic Monument and belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
The portico has seven rounded arches on simple pillars. It consists of a single masonry and dressed granite nave. At the entrance to the temple there is a tower with the top in pyramid form.
The interior is accessed through a rounded arch doorway flanked by columns. Inside you will find the wood-covered nave, and also the main chapel and choir, with rounded arches.
Included in the valuable contents inside the temple are the granite pulpit, the baptismal font, decorated with Gothic style motifs, the 17th century altarpiece and several Baroque style images such as Santa Rita and Nuestra Señora de la Consolación. -
